Development

I mainly develop on Windows with Notepad++ as an editor of choice. I use GIT version control on OpenBSD servers

Standard tools/techniques in the arsenal include Firebug, Navicat, MVC frameworks, Google Analytics, SEO, front-end optimisation and compatibility testing in the major browsers:

  • Zend Framework: used for development of all our apps at Kintek.
  • CouchDB: sweet server-side JS and noSQL database.
  • FuelPHP: a new, sleek, fast PHP 5.3 MVC framework
  • iPhone/Android Applications: jumping on the app bandwagon.
